Apprenticeship as a Precision Machinist (m/f)
Precision machinists construct tools for the automotive industry, among other things from technical drawings. The programming of computer-controlled machine tools and the operation of manual milling machines and turning machines, including the measuring and testing of mechanical variables, also form part of the precision machinist’s job tasks as well as the maintenance of the machines. The willingness to constantly train and develop one’s skills further is also a prerequisite for this profession.

Duration: 3 ½ years
The apprenticeship takes place at the company, at the professional school and at the center for craftsmanship education.
In the course of the professional training, an apprenticeship certification examination part I must be conducted. It is done after 1 ½ years.
The final examination takes place in the middle of the fourth year of training.
